after a little patience and resistance, daddy gregorski - the photographer - was able to finally catch a nice shot of niki's eyes ... hmm ... dark gray w/ a tint of navy?
other then that, kai seems to have tallent ... to eat so far & tire mommy in the process

our baby Nikita has had her first night at home & she only woke up ONCE!
today, we've also had our first visit to the doctor & she reports that Kai is well & healthy.

edith has finally decided on the name for our doughter & ... they are releasing us from the hospital! (after bit of persuading from daddy)
Kai Nikita Gregorski
where does Kai come from .... in my opinion edith just shortened original s-kai-ler, but it actually has some cool meanings in different cultures:
# Kai is a Polynesian and Hawaiian word/name meaning "big water", "the ocean", "the sea"; Makai means "towards big water".
# In Welsh and Scandinavian cultures, Kai means "keeper of the keys; earth".
# Kai in the Navajo language means "willow tree".
# In Burmese, Kai means "strong", or "unbreakable".

so, edith doesn't like the name we chosen during delivery - Scala (as in music scale) & .... it will be changed ... to what still remains to be seen
but both baby & mommy are well and are resting at the hospital.
after coming home at 7am, i've managed to sleep 'till 11am & rushed back to the hospital to see my baby again

after 23 hours of home labor & 3 more in hospital, brave new mommy - Edith - has given birth to 7lb 3oz, healthy baby girl, this morning at 3:11am. edith is doing well and is recovering from natural birth.
as a typical "gregorski move", Scala decided to give it up to "da man" & poop on the birth papers as her first "act" in her life
and here's the video (no worries ... this is the edited version

first & foremost, i must apologize .... (to myself even) for not keeping closer tabs on this pregnancy & life changing experience of becoming a father . but yes, for those who don't know, we've been pregnant for 9 month and 3 weeks now. doctor's say it should be a girl ... (few people have been predicting otherwise, including grandma)
well, seems "skyler nikitta gregorski" is ready and edith had had contractions since 1am, last nite.

Our Honeymoon - 2 week / 2000 miles California Road Trip

it sux to be back .... but all good things come to the end.
i'm in loooove with California .... found few new twisties and .... still love my wife, even though we ... argued a bit & .... she tried to kill us in the middle of a desert (sort off) ....
we've got over 2,600 pix & dozen of videos, so bear with me, they slowly will trickle down to the web .... eventually I'll update interactive map of our Road Trip
but ... (drums) for now .... i've uploaded 400 of the better pix up to Santa Monica (about half way of our trip). i still have to comment & sort out few pix, but here they are:
