as promised i've been taking pictures around 42nd street. there's so much happening in NYC that it's hard to concentrate on one particular subject, so as i'm still figuring that out, i've taken many photos of ... people. it's fascinating how there's so many people around, but every person is sort of alone - in their own world, trying to separate from all the others . well, enough of talk - check it out for yourself and let me know what you think.

happy people don't count time ...

let me enlighten you a bit on motorcycle culture. well, because when we "run" (ride fast at 130-180 mph / 215-300 kph), it is so intense that it can't be done for an extensive amount of time (sometimes we also attract ... an eye of the law as well). well, we end up hanging out in between the runs, quite a lot. so as i was hanging in astoria park on friday night (between the runs), i've decided to try to show you guys how does it feel to be there. don't think i've done a 100% job, but it's a start.

What a 24 hours ... day, nite and a day ... let's just say recently i've met new friends and realy enjoy hanging in the new musician / artist circles. All of the sudden I feel accepted by strangers in NYC ... which is a new experience for me. I guess crazy people like .... crazy people 
So i enojyed music of Solade last nite in Soho. I think i nicely captured the moment and the ambience of the place. BTW, you can also check her out every Wednesday nite over at Boom.

42nd street chronicles

As i'm still, temporarily stuck on this crazy island, called New York City, I might as well look for photo inspiration here ... I thought to myself couple of months ago. I've been working in midtown for 8 years before and now 42nd street .... right, smack in the middle of all the madness. I've seen few things in my 14 years in NYC, but "the city" definately takes the cake. So, here it is, my newest photo idea "42nd street chronicles". Blog is off course on the way, but all of this is still part of my Big 30 - so, I'll continue to post better shots here, on fotopages. Enjoy

Close friends of mine Kasia and Marcin invited me to their children's birthday party. Wow ... an adult get a bit confused with 20 something kids running around - kindergarten (przedszkole) :0. But it was fun to see everyone together.
