it's been a while ... i know, but here are the latest pix

time continues to fly. Kaja is growing so fast:
- "baby talk" "conversations" are a daily occurrence. to top is all of Kaja knows how to properly "talk" on the phone: she waits until you're finish talking, so that she can start "talking"
- she has learned how eat with a spoon & ... both left & right hands
- terrible 2s seemed to kick in ... few months earlier: plenty of tuntrums & "no"s
- "awima wa" is famous part of her first favorite song below

Kai: 14 months update

she changes every day:
- "ooh ooo" is her favorite fraze, especially when she deliberately throws her pacy behind the bed
- dancing is just part of every day
- running ... yes, that's a new thing, she runs
- calls everyone "mama" .... including me ... i'm working on it, although when she wants somethings i hear "tata"
- eating by herself & gets upset when we try to force her to eat main dish & not the desert first
- she loves to laugh & "talk to the pesants" from the ledge of the window (yes, daddy is holding here behind the glass and our buliding has installed window guards)

maaan, time flies. Kaya's pretty much "walking" (that's what other have educated us) - as in 2-3 steps on her own. she likes to "talk" too, even spoke to her daddy on the phone the other day.

kai - 7-9 months
|
|
time is flying so fast, that i've ... skipped few months here, but don't fear, here are the newest pix of the little "urwis"
- neither signing or talking seems to change dramatically those days. however, "mommy", "tata" & yes, the fav. "alah akbar" seems to be repeated more then other "blah, blah". & screaming or testing the volume of her voice seems to be a new, "fun" thing to do
- she's been tyring to walk BAD: first the jumper, then daddy got her this cool walker and lately she's been getting up on her own quite a bit. mommy claims a first step. i've seen her stand on her own, for about 10 sec
- food - we've got an ok from the doc to feed her "anything", although daddy has been doing that on a DL & got Kaya to littlerally suck his nose ... to taste what's he's eating

well ... i'm posting this a day away from 7, but ...
what's new? hard to keep track:
- she's definitely much more aware of everything and awake most of the days,
- still can't seem to figure out how to crawl, but is more then happy to stand ... still with assistance of course
- grabs _everything_ within her reach - cell phones & laptops seem to be favorite
- finished eating mushy solids & off to _real_ food
- daddy got her few disney cartoon's in Polish: gdzie jest Nemo & Auta
- unfortunately daddy also got the whole fam sick ... but Kai & mommy seems to be recovering well

thanks to generous accomodations by Peter (aka kurwa #2 & Nora - and my convincing powers to utilize Edith's air flight points, we were able to sneak out for a mini - 6 day vacation to DR with Kai
i managed to steal Kai from mommy & dip her into ocean .... which she loved of course. i was also very annoyed with ruskis at a wonderfull 4 star resort we stayed for couple of days while down there
all in all - this vacation was fun & here are couple of priceless quotes on "dominicana" by Piotrek:
- logic is illegal in this country
- predictable annoyances
- they are big fans of x-mass - they love taking - the only thing they are good at is ... stealing

kai: time flies - 5 months
|

i've been slacking w/ my updates yet again, but hey ... life w/ a 5 month old is FULL .
i found out how full it is recently when i had Kaja to myself for the whole weekend ... no work was done .
changes? plenty, she doubled her weight since birth ... is about 25 inches now & smiles ALL the time ,
she also eats solids now (although "solid" is a mushy frame of mind if you ask me),
puts everything she gets in her mouth, although her feet must be the favorite
she tries to sit up & "stands" on her feet .... if daddy holds her
ohh, i took her to the beach (real, "on the sand" beach experience) & to bear mountain - where falliage effect had Kai fascinated - she put her tonge out to feel the wind better
